Web developer since 2000, with experience developing and maintaining SharePoint sites, .NET and HTML websites, web servers, and web marketing.
- Designed and deployed a SharePoint (WSS 3.0) company intranet with over 20 sites, using custom templates, custom security implementation using Active Directory
- Co-led a major overhaul of 2,000 page website including layouts, content, scripting, and applications. Special attention paid to Section 508 compliance
- Took over a small, static HTML professional service website with 7,000 hits per month and turned it into a highly-ranked, database-driven ASP, CSS-styled website with over 86,000 hits per month by studying and employing white hat search engine optimization (SEO) methods and pay-per-click advertising.
Academic Qualifications
I have taught Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Ethics, and a course on Reasoning at Georgetown University, Trinity College, and Central Texas College at the National Naval Medical Center.
My academic bio includes an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Houston (1992), and an M.A. in Bioethics from Georgetown University (2003).
My areas of specialization are Professional ethics, Nursing ethics, Bioethics, and Theoretical ethics. Areas of competence include Plato's Dialogues, Logic, Aristotle, Feminist theory, and Introductory philosophy/ethics courses.
